Sarahal88, my chicks came but it was a rough road. The temps were 0 degrees and with everything I did with the heating pad, gro-gel, and ground food, I lost 7 Easter Egg chicks. I've never lost that many and it was sad.

I called Cackle and they gave me a credit for the chicks that died. The rest of the chicks are doing really well. Have you gotten your order yet?

Yes, I did! It was a bit of a drama though. When they sent my order the second time, HALF of my 22 were dead or dying when I got them. Just like you, I picked them up in zero degree temps. Meyer agreed to replace them, but I found my local farm store had decent varieties available so I took a refund instead and replaced the ones that didn't survive with local chicks to avoid shipping again. I have been raising them all for the last 5 weeks and haven't had any more issues. I passed on 6 chicks on to a friend as planned, and my remaining 16 are thriving. My little Black Australorp rooster started crowing at barely 4 weeks old, so funny to watch!
