Terrific laying hen -- easily handled, has hatched one wonderful clutch. She is very much a family pet quality bird (my 4-year-old grandson easily picks her up and carries her.) She lays on average one egg a day. As brahmas go, she is actually a bantam, though well proportioned and about the same size as a standard barred rock. She needs a new home as I am over my limit on allowed number of hens and the rest of my flock are tiny bantam cochins. You will be delighted to add her to your flock of laying hens/family pets.
