Light Brahmas

We are raiseing Light Brahmas, My chicks in incubator are due in 4 days. Working on cleaning up coop for the chicks as we are building a new one for the older flock. Was wondering if I should put lime down? Chicks will be kept in a kennel in coop till they get bigger and new coop is finished. Does lime hurt the chickens?
