Congratulations Miriam & Brad on the new grandchild. She is beautiful. John wanted to know if it was a real baby in the pic because she looked like a doll. We don't use the word "step" around here either. Do the parents live close by - will you be able to see her often?

My oldest daughter is expecting her first child, a baby girl, in early August and I'm so excited I can't wait. I had my kids at age 20, 21, and 23 and was hoping to be a young grandmother but she will be almost 30 when the baby is born and I just turned 50.

I went back to the hospital today, they should be discharged by Sunday.

Congrats chica. She's a beauty! I'm 62 and have 3 grandchildren - ages 8, 5 & 2. I have friends my age who have great grandchildren who are the ages of my grandkids! It's hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that I'm actually old enough I could have great grandkids

I think the doc messed up on the date. She is a big beautiful baby!! OOOOOOOOOOO I could just eat her up!!!!


We weren't blessed with kids so we spoil all the ones around us. I've got 10 neices and nephews and 11 grand neices and nephewsed, 1 God-daughter who just turn Sweet 16, 2 God-sons who are 11&15. I'm their favorite Auntie because I do all the things their parents don't do with them (Dancing in puddles during a rain storm)and take the blame when we get in trouble, lol.
