Lime??

Thank you all! Can they have eggs that are in a lime water to help them last longer? I forget what they are call
Like canned eggs? I found this online, so I don't know what to believe anymore! My chickens get citrus peels ad rinds in our table scraps, they don't really eat it though.

Google- Despite the myths you may have heard or come across on the internet, Citrus is just fine for chickens. The reality is that most chickens will avoid citrus. ... When asking about citrus fruits we usually mean lemons, oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, pomelo and limes.

Honestly, I do the same and agree they mostly ignore citrus. A stray peck here and there, but mostly any citrus just composts.

That being said, I suggested avoiding because given the option of JUST citrus may encourage them to eat it and have some ill effect.

That and I had to say something after the SO 2020 initial reply (“Lots of people say...” followed by something untrue). :p ;) :D
