Limping and tail tucking?! Help, please!

Jenn,
Feel around her vent and low belly. If she is egg bound she will be hard. If she is hard, treat her for egg bound. It will not hurt her. Warm bath, Nu Stock around her vent area and use it on her legs too. Chickens have glands on the bottom of the feet. They might have something lodge inside. Soak in Epsom salt a few times and put the Nu Stock or even Neem oil on.

Thank you for the responses. Everyone!

We lanced the infection yesterday (I nearly passed out). :/ (my husband does this kind of thing for a living, so we have some clue as to what we are doing. No worries! ;))

I did not feel anything hard around her vent. What can I do besides sequester her to find out if she is laying? Is there a way to 'look up there?!' I don't want to hurt her...

Now that I think of it, there was a chicken who had been 'laying' for a while. Too many of them look too much a like to be sure it was her. I know that it is possible for her to have an egg without a shell?!

Just an update. Everyone is fine! The limping one eventually stopped and the tail tucking one isn't anymore! No explanations! Just so weird that it all happened at once! :). I learned things in the process, so yay!
