It was. It was purple, too! Yuck. I hate bumblefoot. View that article I posted, that might help you treat the bumblefoot. Please excuse me if I didn't see a post where you said she doesn't have bumblefoot anymore, I didn't feel like reading 18 pages.

When I have a bad case, I leave the bandage on for two days, then remove it to check what the wound is doing. You'll be able to tell if it has more pus that needs removing.

In any case, I soak the foot again, and poke around just a little, removing any pus, then repeat the dressing and bandaging. I leave it for another few days and check.

How many days has she been on the antibiotics? Just a few right? @casportpony is my go to for meds she can tell you hopefully how long she should be in the antibiotic.

we have been doing this, it seems like forever. I will still love to read what you have for me. It may not be over yet..

With the cephalexin I think it's 7-14 days.
