I would agree that she isn't doing the leg any good by getting upset and paces. If she's doing that again in the morning, I would let her out. Maybe you could keep her in the coop, but she probably won't overuse it too much. Some chickens will quiet down after a bit, or they will only get upset when you come into the coop to do something. Hope she starts mending.
