1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
10 month old EE who is feeling slightly lighter than normal.
2) What is the behavior, exactly.
water-like liquid coming out of her mouth when she opened her mouth to eat. Her comb is slightly lighter than normal.
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
She was fine this morning
4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
No
5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
No
6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
We don't know. She is 4/5 on the pecking order.
7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
We have seen her eat.
8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
We have not seen her poop yet, but will update if she does. There is some diarrhea but we are not sure if that was her.
9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
None
10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
We do not currently have a vet, but if it is serious we could find one.
11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
12) Describe the housing/bedding in use
We use wood shavings and they free range during the day in a closed-in area.

Thank you!

Do you feed your birds treats daily?
Yes, though never too much. We feed live earthworms, dried mealworms, and/or the spent grains. They have free choice layer feed, water (with nipples), and oyster shells. Thank you for your help

Check her crop first thing in the morning and report back if it is empty or not.
You can compare it to your other birds if needed.

Do you off grit?

Chickens don’t vomit, so it sounds like your hen has an impacted crop ... which would explain the weight loss, since food isn’t getting to the gizzard to digest
