What?my brother looked it up and it’s apparently a disease is it slimy?
Take away food, offer nothing but water with a little crushed garlic. Offering food is pointless bc it will just pile up and ferments and turn into sour crop (yeast infection from food not going down). See if this helps ... you want to rebalance the food and bad bacteria. Absolutely no carbs right now; after a day or two with just the garlic water see if the crop goes down. It takes approximately 12 hours for food to fully leave the crop to get to the stomach. If it seems better after only garlic water offer some plain Greek yogurt or some plain scrambled egg ... it’s all about getting the crop to function properly againHow?

It is smelly, not slimy ... it’s not a disease it’s a yeast infection called sour crop.my brother looked it up and it’s apparently a disease is it slimy?

I do t believe that is true. I always give my chickens garlic and cured a chicken from sour crop using the garlic water method.
Thanks but she died in my hand it only took a few seconds to die she was gasping for air but breathing that stuff inI'm sorry for your loss.
