I just got 25 chicks from Mt Healthy Hatchery and they were so good about shipping. I ordered them 2 months ago and they were right on time and every bird is doing great and healthy. These people do a wonderful job !!!

I received my ameraucana chicks yesterday from Ideal Poultry. I have to praise them for keeping me informed about when they would hatch an ship. The packing was fantastic and all my chicks arrived safe and healthy. I am very pleased.

what hatcheries can u get the colored chickens from
*The Edwards farm 2 pgymy goats, 2 sheperds, 3 Jersey Red hens, 3 Bantam hens And One Bantam roster.We also have a beared dragon in the house.*

If you mean the dyed chicks, Ideal sells them around Easter only. I'm not sure, but I think you have to order 25.

There may be an obvious reason for this. Mamy of the breeders are sold out for the rest of the year. Is the demand that high or is it a problem to ship chicks during the summer months?
