Free Ranging
Yesterday was a big day for our 10 little babies, it was their first time exploring outside the run, including our wee bantam EE. They are 8-9 weeks old. I think it was bigger deal for me than them as I was so worried about them. Our older girls were much older than these guys when I let them out the firs time. But they had so much fun.
They never went too far from the coop and run and always returned for a drink, a snack or a nap. Although they were getting a little brave a couple hours before dark and starting to venture into the woods. So I locked them back up.
I have been slowly introducing the littles to the bigs with daily snack times together. Only one major squabble and one of our big girls got her butt handed to her by one of the littles!
