New chicken mama here. I just noticed my black sex link has little tiny black spots on her comb. None of the other chickens seem to have any but she has the largest comb. I checked under her feathers and everything looks normal? Can anyone tell me what it looks like? TIA

Some of my birds have that too. But not as much.
I do see that mine will have black scabs if they had a small wound from pecking or something.
But they also have tiny black spots like that too and it doesn’t seem like they’d be scabs.
I’ve heard of something called stick tight fleas but I don’t know exactly what they look like.

Those look like tiny bug bites to me. You might want to spray your coop with permethrin or hang some fly strips or bug traps. This time of year flies can cause maggot infestation or flystrike around vents of chickens with poopy vents, so just a word of caution.

Ok thanks!! I’ll hang some fly strips in there!
