What are these little tiny bugs everywhere!? They appeared recently, at first only a few, and in no time at all they are now everywhere!!! And I do mean everywhere!! The storage sheds outside, food and water buckets, the outside of the coop, some bedding that had spilled out, etc.! 
What are they? Fleas!? Mites!?
I’d like to know how to get rid of them.
The chickens all still seem to be healthy and are laying well and everything but these little bugs are annoying!!
Could rodents have bought fleas in? I saw a rat a few months ago and haven’t seen any since but I’ve been trying to eliminate them all the same (apparently unsuccessfully) as well as clean up behind the coop. That tan/green shed was removed today and I still have more work to do out there.
We also have tons of chipmunks and squirrels.
They don’t really look like fleas but do jump pretty far and fast little things. Yesterday was very cold so they’re a bit sluggish.
Also if someone could help in eliminating the rodents. Does Tractor Supply sell rat traps or poison? Most places I’ve seen only sell the mouse sizes.
