Little chick is chirping so loudly, is she okay?

So as baby chicks 3 days old what do u put on bottom of cage for them to sleep on

They're all quiet until the pepper light comes on in the morning. Even her, but during the earlier morning when the rest of the chicks and myself are still asleep, she is often cheeping away. I did check her crop and it doesn't seem to be overly full, but I'll definitely keep an eye on it. She's clearly the boss even though she is the littlest. Not skinny little, just in general smaller, she's just as chubby fluffy as the rest.

Try soaking her bottom in warm water for 2-3 minutes then drying with a towel as much as possible, then blow dry on low until completely dry. This helped my chicks a lot and hopefully this solves your problem.

If this doesn't work she is probably alerting you something is wrong, like either she or another is sick, or she is just stressed. Hope your chick gets better!

If this is your first tiime, you're going to find out how dusty they are. They'll be dust everywhere and sand will only make it worse. Much worse. Throw them in some of your soil to get them built up to it, especially it theyre on medicated food.

I bet she has Cocci. Oughta check into it, imo Watch to see if its belly starts to cave in instead of being round.

She's not got pasty butt but I'll deff keep an eye to make sure it's not cocci.
To the person asking about what to put in, with ours we've used flake pine shavings. It's soft enough that they're comfy. It's easy to spot clean between fully emptying the brooder, and it gives them the opportunity to learn about scratching without making too much of a mess.

I usually use pine shavings but my favorite is straw with sand. The straw/sand combo makes a really solid surface to walk on that also has good water draining properties.

My Golden
Ace Polishes make that loud what I call car alarm sound. They do it until they are together. Or can see one another it does not matter if the other chick's are already around or not. She runs around doing it looking for her twin basicly. There a different chirp forneverything. Just have to figure em ou.
