I removed the other two hellians and put them in the brooder. I ended up helping the little one because it was not progressing and you could see it panting because of exhaustion. Now its peeping and sleeping in the incubator. There was a little blood but it stopped. Its not able to stand up yet. I am still waiting for the other 9 to do something. The humidity did drop to 50% but was right back kline about 5 mins. Will this affect the others trying to hatch?
Shouldn't. At least it never has in mine. I've only had it go that low a couple times, but w/in 5 minutes it was back up over 60 and headed to my safe zone...(above 70%).

Okay thank God! I have only one shaking now. And today is day 22 for the BCMs and day 21 for my Isbars. I guess I will give it another couple of days.

My humidity in the goose eggs is still 90% I have already taken out the sponge and the butter top with the napkins on it. I don't know what else I can do to lower it. Or if I should lower it at all! Feeling crazy right now. This incubator is one thing or another.

I take it goose eggs aren't suppose to have it that high huh?? Can always open the bator and let some escape. Your vents are all open, right?

Amy when I looked up the water candling video yesterday I found a video about day 25 in regards to the brinsea octogon. The lady had explained in the video that they needed a lot of humidity to hatch but, not how high. She explained how to set them back in the incubator after the last candling before lockdown so it is easier for them to position theirselves and hatch properly. And she said in the video that she has incubator in the wash room and runs the dryer to make the humidity stay high. But never said how high? So I am worried should it be 90% should it be lower? She didn't have a hygrometer in there that I saw and in the video I was paying more attention to what is she doing as opposed to trying to see if I could read the screen. I looked up her other video so I could watch it that was pretty cool too. Showing the internal pip of the goose egg.
I was thoroughly excited to have 4/4 wiggle during the water candling. I so want this to go well. I will be really disappointed if it goes south now.

for you!

Also I would open the incubator but, I had a real hard time stabilizing the temperature. Now I have it at 100 I am worried that it will fall lower and take too long to come back up. Or worse over heat and go back up to 102 last yesterday. This incubator is seriously a problem. Or maybe it's just the user..... lol I don't know yet.

Here is a chart that I found. I posted it on another thread and was told that it had errors. (mainly because call ducks are ducks, but don't hatch like most other ducks)
So.... it is an opinion of a major incubator manufacturer, take it or leave it, but at least its an opinion.
The thing I find curious about it is almost everything is the same for different birds, but number of days are different. I've found that ducks need a little more humidity than chickens. Don't know squat about geese though. But maybe you can correlate it to whatever you do with other species???
