While the weather was nice, I took a short break from doing yard work and decided to take a few shots of the birds...

Bo-Peep was one of my birds from my absolute first group of chicks I bought so she's quite special to me. She's an EE cross (maybe with sultan?). - definitely unique


I'm very excited for the eggs to hatch - she's sitting on 14; one egg is hers and the rest she stole from the other hens' nesting boxes.

(which is why she had to be moved from the coop). How she managed to do that, I have no idea... lol


I'll definitely update this thread once they hatch - they should all be very interesting mixes.

Wonderful chickens. Your silkie roosters look like they are pretty big for silkies. Do the roosters get along pretty well?

Your flock is gorgeous. Is that a Polish laced I see? Or am I off? Im newish to chickens, LOL But we almost ended up with a polish laced, but I decided against it since none of seemed to be able to see very well, and just ran around attacking toes, LOL
