Hey all, one of my Rhode Island Reds has been showing some signs of illness. For about a week now every time I let the chickens out in the morning she is the very last one out and she comes out about a minute later as she is still in the roost and hasn't gotten off yet. She always is spitting out saliva. When she comes out she takes a drink of water and then acts normal for the rest of the day. However, today she didn't quite go back to normal. When I let the chickens out, she didn't come out and was sitting in the roost spitting out saliva/bile. I took her off the roost and made her go outside. Her comb started turning somewhat purplish on the blade and white at the points (not all of them). She is acting very lethargic and she ate very little. She is 3 years old and is living with 10 other chickens. Any opinion would be appreciated! Thanks!
