I wouldn't say its a cockerel for sure either. Rose comb birds are harder to tell till much older sometimes.

Not necessarily. Pullets are pretty adventurous. It really depends more on the individual, not the gender. Plus, by the age of your chick, a lot of moms are starting to leave their chicks.

Ive uploaded this silkie chicken before and everyone said pullet... but hubby keeps saying Cockerel. Do you guys still think pullet? I still think so... but im selling to someone so need to be as sure as i can...

I am leaning Pullet, I have a 5 month old Cockerel Silkie and his wattles are way larger and his earlobes are blue, he also started Crowing this week.

Ugh...silkies are tough! I kinda want to say cockerel, but honestly, I'm just not sure.

Ear lobe color doesn't make a difference when it comes to gender.

I just dont know... ive shown a couple people in person and even they dont know! Lol
