"Live Embryos"

Maybe you should write BIOHAZARD!! Or maybe EXPLOSIVES!!!!!!!

What about babys and embryos makes people freak out???? Seems like there are far worse things

She said that because they will think that there are live baby birds in there..instead of just the eggs. And if you ship live birds they handle/ship them differently...
We've all seen how they handle the egg boxes...

I was thinking this may be a good way to get eggs handled better so the lady at the PO thinks the folks that work there don,t know the differnce between embryos and eggs that explains a lot

The box was just labeled "Live Embryos." I guess they thought they might be human embryos (Guess I'm more than just the "crazy chicken lady" in town now!)

I write that on the boxes I ship out also. I have noticed a HUGE difference in how the boxes were handled. Even had some reports of the boxes being taped into the plastic tubs so they would not get banged around.

That's great...

My birds arrived in a blizzard and the Post Office called me at 7am and told me to come down and get them...
They opened up early for me so I could pick the birds up befor ethe snow got too deep..we had 22 inches that storm!!!!

I use the same stickers to ship but I'm not sure it really makes a difference. I wish we could request "special handling" for priority items but I understand that is only for Express Mail which is ridiculously expensive and NOT usually faster than Priority.

See this video about how the Post Office sorts and handles packages: Particularly around :17 - :21 into the video. It will make your heart sink...

:lol, I love the U break U pay!

One seller send some marked "live embryos" too, mailman set it down and left real fast for some reason.
