Live Webcam! 6/7 hatched, camera on brooder now

For some reason my 6 year old has named this chick Georgie, he keeps saying "Come on Georgie, you can do it!"

I'm sorry, Bloom, but I have no idea. I was feeling proud of myself that I was tech savvy enough to set it up.

The one in front seems to not have pipped enough, and looks like it's trying to HULK SMASH its' way out. Is this unusual?

The one in back made a good 1/2" progress while I was picking up my dd from orchestra.

AND, while I was gone, the one between the two with obvious progress PIPPED!! That means I have five who have pipped now.

Edited to add: I moved the incubator around because I think that other one is about to hatch, and will go first. With the new angle, I see that a 6th chick has pipped!!

The only one not to pip, I heard chirping from inside her shell yesterday.

I noticed that little guy up front pipped and zipped a bit then decided he was fed up with all that zipping business and with one monster push cracked that egg all around. He's as impatient as you and your little one are. I've never had it happen to me but I don't know how unusual it is. It doesn't seem like he's having any problem with it. I vote for the fella in back to emerge first though. He's been working all last night and looks like he's got the hang of it now.
