Load of chips arrived

Yay my chips came! These are fresh and highly fragrant. Some got into the run. Hope it won't make them sick.

They are busily scratching them into the hay.

That would be nice got a load a few years back but none since

This one wasn't free but I'm set up to get free ones in the summer. I had a mud path emergency.

I’m in the property business so give the local tree surgeon a lot of work. In return I get unlimited woodchips and oak logs Handy contact to have. Just stocked up for the rest of the year... That reminds me, everyone wanting woodchips now is the time to get them. Wait til summer and it’ll be half leaves!

Half leaves is exactly what I want. My property is still under 2' of snow. Any thing that is not snow covered is mud covered.

Yeah I don't really care what for these gates and paths. Guess leaves in the flower beds not so great though. No one's cutting anything much here right now either.

Even though my yard is easy access for dumping, none of the chipper guys will dump here, even if they are chipping ON MY ROAD! I think it boils down to liability.

I just did my run. It was a mud pit and all the hens were getting covered. We had a sycamore tree that had been felled then chipped.

Loads better and no more mud!!
