This chick hatching is so eggciting for me. As i'm sure you all know how I feel. My husband gets a kick out of it too but he leaves the adjustments and handling to me. He helps come up with ideas and fixes things I need for them. He is wanting to move the chicken coop so we can put the run back on. We need about 3 good strong men for help. Any volunteers?

Well I thought everyone would like to see a picture of the babies all fluffed out. They're so cute!

I'm going to try to number everyone. #2's name is Miss Jayne because she's sassy... watch it be a roo lol... They're so cute!!!

My favorites are #1 and #2 because I just love their colors!

I couldn't get it labeled right so I gave up... Lol

My chick came out the wrong end yesterday and she is doing well now. She still looks a little drunk but I think she is going to make it...yay!! she came from my hen and roo that are less than six months old, so I didn't have much hope for her, especially when she went towards the wrong end. Just waiting on her sister to hatch now, she is late and the other was early. Poor chicky she is all alone. I took her outside to see her mama...she just looked and stared and was so amazed.... I didn't know if she was thinking..oh my baby or yummm lunch.

I had one come out the wrong end. I started a thread about it and called it I think Wrong Zipper. That got peoples attention. I meant for it to be funny and thank goodness nobody got offended but I was asking advice about it.
My chick made it too. She was nuch smaller than the others her size but after 2 months she caught up and I couldn't tell them apart except for tail variations. Her name was midget. She didn't grow for a couple of weeks. The others her age where twice her size. They protected her too. It was really cool how they would surround her when they saw my hand coming in the brooder. They protected her until she was their size. And people say chickens are stupid.

There are 2 more eggs left but no activity from them. I'll leave in case they're late. Here are the 5 EE's that have hatched so far. I really don't expect anymore until next time. I'll set some more in a few days and I also have 3 AO eggs and some PR's also.
