becky, hatching can take 48 hrs so give it time. that one may have been really early.

I have three Wheaten Marans out so far of 10 eggs. due 9/24. I have one zipping, one sitting and the other 5, I think, are not good. This hatch I just let em be. Candled once, and seperated them, so hoping to get 5 new babies, if not a surprise or two. Yeah, Hatch-A-Holic, you are a graandma! HenZ

I'm at 75% with my hatch, which is awesome IMO. It was my first time hatching. I hatched in a homemade incubator with a three way split hatch. Not too shabby. I've got ducklings do now Oct 7 and Oct 9. Hopefully they do as well. 5 pm started day 21 for me on the chicks. How much longer should I wait for the last egg to hatch?

I've got 2 out a day early and 1 pipped and 1 zipping. Then there is one that has movement inside but no action as far as hatching yet. Here are the 2 so far. They are EE's

I woke up to see a new cute face! A little frizzle something...can't see the egg and I know better than to open the "Monster Bator". I have quite a few pips from the eggs my sons are waiting for...Polish...woohooo! can't wait!!! Congrats to everyone

My chick report last nite was

All 4 Salmon Favs have hatched
Only that one Ameraucana
Buttercups are doing nothing

So I had 5 as of last nite ..

***tapping toes***

Now I wait for the morning update ...


Oh, and my friend had 2 of 6 shipped bantam cochins out so far last nite..

(I got to listen to them peep peep peeping to me over the phone last nite ...
