I've got my first chick...hatched at 6:00 this evening. So very cool! These eggs are from my flock and are BSL so I know that this one is a little roo! Of course, just my luck! I'm hoping for at least 50% girls!!!

I hear chirping this morning it started about 3 AM this morning but no pipping as far as I can see. Today is day 19

UPDATE: I've got 9 chicks and 11 pips right now! These first 9 all hatched pretty close together, but now there's a lull. Today is my official hatch day at 2:40 pm so had several early hatches. All are healthy and looking good. These are black sex link and 6 are roos and 3 are pullets. Hope my luck changes on these last ones.

Aww congrats, lol what will you do with all those roos?

I am only on day 19 though so I don't expect to see pips yet until tomorrow
