The problem you're encountering is because Purina Gamebird startena is a medicated feed. Some on here say that it's not, but I can get it at my feed store and it is medicated.

Oh, the medicated feed that one offered to sell was a different brand. I hadn't even gotten that far with Purina. I did specify that I needed non-medicated feed. No one here carries much game bird feed. I've only found 4 feed stores (out of many) that keep any at all in stock. One of those carries Dumor. One carries some brand I've never heard of (can't recall off the top of my head) but it is medicated. Orscheln's has their own store brand, Country Lane, but its only 22%. The only other thing I've been able to find is Nutrena Naturewise Game Bird Starter. I lost the tag from that one, so I don't remember the percentage. (I have to drive about an hour and fifteen minutes to get that one. I can get Turkey starter at a couple of places, but they are equally far away.

Glad to know the Purina is medicated, though. I won't bother to keep trying to track that down...

Sigh...

Well, I just ripped the tag off mine and there's no medicine listed as an ingredient. So it probably depends on the area of the country you are in. But Rozzie, you have to be more specific than Purina Gamebird feed.

Its Purina Gamebird Startena - non medicated (product 5419), they have a couple different Gamebird feeds. I actually pointed out the one I wanted to the feedstore that orders for me, from his list. Unless its the grower feed you are after, which I can't get or the maintenance.

Oh, I am going to start the guessing game and change my numbers 9Birds 5M/4F. Mrs. Boots, Mrs Chipmonk, Mrs White, (the 3 turketeers) Mrs? M Gold. Maybe Mrs. Brown but need a better pic when its got it head up and not sleeping. Good luck with that.

beckeyschicks what do you have ?

At this point they are just supposed to be seeing what Purina Gamebird starter they even have access to in this area. I did specify nomedicated starter and had him write it down.

I suspect I won't hear from them even though I gave them my cell phone number. Figure I'm going to have to call Purina myself and find out what's available in this area, ROFL.

More pictures, per Mrs. Fluffy Puffy's request.

Notice that the background is PINK. I'm working on my persuasive powers...

I had one rotten egg, but it didn't develop very far. Afraid I'm keeping little Boots, though.
