lockdown help please!

So, after my first hatch failed.. we decided to try again.. today is day #18, or wll be by 7pm AK time.. A friend us to leave the eggs in the turner (with it turned off) until we see pip marks then lay them down.. another told us to just lay them down now.. suggestions?? Thank you!!

P.S. we have a Little Giant Deluxe..
 
I take them out. My logic when i think about this question, is that eggs do not naturally sit on end in the nest. Nature usually has it right.
 
I remove the turner at day 18 and lay them down. Once you go into lockdown you want to get the humidity up in the bator BEFORE the first pip. If you wait until an egg pips you are jeopardizing the ability to hatch by not providing it with the proper humidity because you are going to have the bator open and eggs out when they should be in that higher humidity.
