Lockdown is in a week and I am getting nervous. I want to make sure I do everything ok.

Do you I keep the red plugs in while on lockdown?

Do I raise the humidity on the day of lockdown and then turn the incubator off?

Do you add water in all the slots to raise the humidity?

Any suggestions are welcome!!

Remove those red plugs NOW chicks need air. Both mine are OUT from day 1. If you keep one it it needs to be removed during the later part of incubation... like now.

What temp and humidity are you currently running?

NEVER turn your incubator OFF unless you are DONE incubating. Otherwise all embryos and chicks will likely die if it last too long.

Have you candled? What are you hatching? :fl :jumpy:jumpy

Yes keep the plugs out so the chicks can breath no don’t turn the incubator offf leave it on and just add water tell the humidity is where is should be I’m in lock down right know with that incubator has well if you would like you can join my hatch a long if you have anymore questions I’m sure some will help you there it is called may hatch a long

That would be great.

So I keep the incubator on during lockdown? Will the babies burn themselves on the top? It’s my first time hatching.

Ok they are out now. I’ve had one of the red plugs out since day 18. Temp is at 101. I am working to lower the humidity bc the egg isn’t where I want it to be. I think I have a couple of days to get it where it needs to be.
