Thank you! I'm so worried they aren't gonna hatch, everything has been good so far, they are all fertile, the chicks are moving around, and its day 16! Being things have been going smooth, I'm scared when it comes time to hatch that thats when problems are gonna come up just because everything has been going good this whole incubation, kinda like a to good to be true kind of feeling i get, i guess because I've read A LOT of peoples hatch experiences, it just has me nervous.Wishing for the best hatch for you!
Awww!!!Oct. 10th was lock down day for my most recent hatch. I too had my eggs on a Little Giant automatic egg turner. Oct. 10 (Day 19) I moved the eggs off the egg turner, removed the egg turner from the Little Giant still air incubator and set the eggs back in the incubator, I situated the eggs in a group so they were touching each other. Of course the eggs wont stay that way because the chicks are flailing around inside saying "let me outta here!" Day 21, the little critters busted out. Day 23 is moving day from the incubator to the brooder.

Here they are at 48 hours old - In the left picture you can see I tagged the cockerels with a blue zip-tie lose enough to allow growth. Right picture shows a pullet I left them un-tagged.
