Lockdown starts today! Who's gonna hatch with me? UPDATE PICS!

I went into lock down yesterday with 6 serama eggs. My first try so i'm hoping for the the best.

I'm stressin!!!! Checkin the bator every couple minutes to make sure temp and humidity are STABLE!!!!!! AWWWW

Oh good heavens, I am starting already with the flashlight shining in there!

Nothing here yet and I have too much noise from the chick in the brooder sitting next to me to be able to hear.

Humidity is 63 on one hygrometer (near the top) and 75 on another (on the floor). So I think it is about where I want it for now.

We sure have a variety going right now! I can't wait to hear who has a PIP!!

I also went on lockdown yesterday with 9 Buff Orpingtons and 7 Ameraucana's. I was shining the flashlight in there this morning to!

My humidity readings are kinda wacky right now. I have a hygrometer that is used for reptiles and it says about 64%, my digital say 75%. I am thinking that the reptile one may be more correct.

I have 14 serama eggs on Lockdown, due to hatch on Friday, if not earlier...the suspense is killing me!

I locked down 35 RIR and Barred Rocks last night. Mine are due to hatch on the 25th. We still keep going and looking even though we know its early. Hatching is so much fun. The last batch of eggs from this gentleman hatched on day 19. I had 29 of 36 hatch. I was so surprised to wake up in the wee hours and think "Do I hear cheeping?"

What better way to spend Christmas break with the kids?
