I have 6 Silkies on lockdown as of midnight last night! Can't wait to see the fluffy butts!

So I now have 8 pips. I can't believe it because it's only the end of day 19 going into day 20. I am sure they are going to drag it out and wait to hatch until Thursday just to drive me crazy

Well, lockdown started yesterday, and I have 2 pips this morning! It's too early for this to be happening! My anxiety level has now reached epic proportions!

I have all my fingers and toes crossed that the chicks are all healthy and well-formed...that's my biggest fear!

Juliette, You are making me laugh. I know that feeling and am working up to it myself!
They are usually fine, no problem if they are pipping. Be glad they are pipping! If they have too much yolk sak just remember to bring the temperature down a bit on your next hatch.

Brandibaby, I am with you, no pips yet. I forgot to write a.m. or p.m. on the egg and my temps were right on so I guess it will be later tonight for the pips. Let's think positive and wish those babies out!
