Lockdown! Update: 1 has hatched!

Today is lockdown day!
I am so excited!
I have 9 coturnix quail eggs that were candled yesterday and all seemed perfect!

I started lockdown yesterday and am a nervous wreak. I will get nothing done today or tomorrow! Praying for a good hatch!

We went into lockdown yesterday with 15 eggs, most of them blue or green. On April 1, we go into lockdown with 28 eggs (blue, green, white, cream, light brown, medium brown... no dark eggs yet). And I plan on setting more blue and bantam eggs tomorrow!

Hmm, it's almost like a soap opera...

Roo: Honey, what are you doing laying a green egg? We're supposed to have only blue!

Hen: Well, at least I'm not like that cross-bred hussy down the street, she lays pink eggs for heavens' sake!
