are they very big chickens? they take a bit longer sometimes. if they were ready you couldnt see to much but black and if they piped the air sac you would see all black.
 
a final count , just now, took a long time. 26 of 30. including a self-blue/lavender silkie. from the 15th of jan. to the 7th of feb. 23 days but i squeezed out the last one. hahahha

My first chick pipped but it has been 24hrs and it still hasn't hatched yet. I can see it breathing and moving and occasionally peeping. Should I just leave it?
 
yes wait longer and make sure your humidity is up there. at least 70% add a damp warm sponge if needed
 
yes, just do it fast. do you have a hygrometer ? i have the lg styrofoam with the 3 channels for water and i added sponge because i couldnt get past 60% . i took one sponge and cut it into 3 strips added warm water and scattered them around the corners.
