Locking down today. Anybody else?

The one that had the bloody zip is out!

I had to help though, she kept looking out the hole in the egg and she didn't look right. So after her membrane started to darken to an almost brown...I snagged her out. I chipped away a tiny bit of shell and she gave a mighty push....and flipped halfway out upside down!!!!! lol So I set her back in still half in the egg, but had to pull her back out when we realized the egg was stuck to her with dried pieces of membrane. I dabbed a little water on it and it pulled right off. She's a yellowish colored sizzle.

One more pip, so thats three now, but they haven't done anything since pipping..

Hope they're OK, it's going to be hard not to watch the incubator all day now, lol!!

what about the temp.. it seems to be cooling the more that hatch. I have 9 out now. turned it up a tad, but don't want to spike it up.

Mine will go down as they are hatching a degree maybe. It goes right back afterwards. I haven't had to turn it up though. They also move the probe around as they are wandering in the bator, which makes the temp go down a little bit.

I have 8 out, and the 4 remaining aren't doing anything. I'll be taking out the 8 later and posting some pics.

I am off to the hospital with my sister so have to leave them in the bator while I am gone. Will move them when I get home. I have 14 out of 15 hatched. Had to help one, it was really trying, but the others had kicked it so much it was zip side down on the floor and stuck to the shelf. STUCK!!! I went to turn it back over and couldnt even move it. It had dried out even tho the humidity is about 60 in there. So I had to remove it. It was shrink wrapped and I about nver got it loose. I got all the shell off and it was really kicking in the membrane. I about never got it torn where it could get loose, very very tough membrane. But it is out and resting now. Pretty much a mess tho with the remnants stuck to it. I do have one with the shell half stuck to its butt. It is walking around with the bottom covered. need to get a picture of it. Pretty cute but it seems to be really stuck on there.

I have 4 babies! My very first pip didn't make it though

It appears that she drowned after pipping. Now I feel terrible for not trying to help sooner. UGH can't win!
