No to any mirrors - they usually bond with the 'mirror budgie' and will try to feed it and interact with it - they will do this to the point of regurgitating so much food, that they die from malnutrition.

Ive never had that happen i would want a percentage of how many birds died from that before i believe that

You can talk quietly to her/read to her, or toys - none with any string/cotton rope - they enjoy 'toys' made from loo rolls.
 
I had no idea they did that! She has had a mirror for the past couple...Idk time past. Nothing has happened... Yet
 
I've had several pairs of budgies over the years. They never once produced eggs. Introducing a male to a female does not mean she will suddenly start laying eggs.

It is advised to keep male/female pairs over a pair of females, since females are more territorial and thus more prone to fighting with each other than a female/male pair would be.

yes I have heard this. Also if/when I get another parakeet, do I need another cage? have heard that "you can't just stick to birds in a cage and expect them to just be friends." Which I totally get. But could I just put a sheld down the middle of the cage I have? her and Calib used to live together in that cage. And they didn't seem to mind to much.

Also, she does "free range" around my bedroom she has a perch along the window, with a ladder and mirror along with stuff on the outside of her cage. so she would still have the same amount of space outside the cage.
