So it turns out that there are no eggs. I don't know if there were at sometime but the
P hen is nesting on a bed of rocks. No sign of shells anywhere. She is broody and has lost weight but there's nothing to take to try to break this. At least she is coming off occasionally to eat. Apparently there were eggs last year that the neighbor saw but he has not seen any this year. Could she be getting too old to lay but still has the instinct?
