Now if only I'd known that when I was a kid!

My theory is that it has to do with all that time spent hanging upside-down... on the upside-down side of the world

Oh, I can imagine

When I were in Leeds, and we would drive down to Dover to catch the ferry to our French holiday... (six hours, more if the M25 was slow) the singing coming from my mother and me trying to keep occupied in the back seat... it must've driven him insane

Neither of us could sing very well

Well, the Aussies invented Vegemite. They have to be insane

My old physics teacher in Leeds drew me a diagram when I left, of a kid hanging up side down from the bottom of the world.

Do remember one funny though.....early early start and Mom had packed a cold roast chook and some tomatoes....we got really hungry and no rest stops in sight so we stopped and opened the back of the station wagon (you will know what is) we stood eating Nomnomnom...it seemed it was gone in seconds

chicken bones all cleaned off...nothing left....we laughed about that for years. like a pack of dingos we were.....no utensils.....chicken on one hand ..tomato in the other LOLOL

I love eating on the run. Once a group of my friends and I... I was quite a bit younger than I am now, we were being taken out on a kiddy trip by a family friend, and people asked her if she'd adopted the five of us

I love gnawing at chicken bones. I can't handle a huge piece of breast meat, but give me a leg any day

Last year in late summer... these pretty Poinciana trees (I think?) were covered in seed pods... so seeing how pretty they were, I wandered into someones yard, casually of course, and plucked me a few pods. Opened them up like pea pods to find a dozen seeds in each... planted the seeds and... Up sprouted my very first trees

Last year in the fall.. the seedlings had gotten to 12 inches or so.. cluttering up the pots I stuck them in.. so I took a handul out and planted them around the yard. A month or so later... and depsite my mulch perimeter and warnings... lawnmower guy runs over all my seedlings

And what do you know but a few weeks ago we thought weeds were popping up out there.... Nope! It's my Poincianas... 2 of them I clumped together to try and hide this pole!
