Long Distance Friendships :-(

Yes Danielleey... thats why I said no... because there doesen't seem to be any way for me to go see her at the moment.

So I went with no. It's a 'I feel really bad for her and responsible because I helped bring her into this world, no'

I wanted your second opinion though. I wish there was someone up in that area that I knew I could ask to go check her out for me

.

I dont suppose any trainers would have the time to go fill some strangers request? LOL

And I worry about her one ear... see how its always cocked back like shes listening behind? Its in the same postion in all 3 photos.. and she is in different positions but still in the same spot on that patch of hay.

Ooops.
They're asking one thousand. Thats the lowest price range for a registered Paso.
Others in the same classifieds area are asking 1,500 for a similar trail prospect.. and show prospcts make a very big jump up from there

Honestly, I wouldn't pay that much just by looks. She doesn't look to be very healthy.
Maybe $750, but not $1000. That's just me, others might be willing to, but I wouldn't.

I'm just coming across your thread since I'm fairly new but I know EXACTY how you feel!! What is it about California that "steals" all the great people! My best friend also moved to California. I miss her terribly. We don't keep in touch nearly as much as we should but I do love that we can go days or weeks without talking to one another and pick right up where we left off like we were JUST talking.

I'm so sorry for your loss! If you can figure out how to get your friend back...let me in on the secret!

As far as I've seen, the only Paso Finos out there that get sold for under 1,000 or thereabouts, are those that aren't registered.

I worry not about spending too much on her in the sale... but having to deal with possible health issues... I've just been thinking.

If I could just looook at her in person.. and have a vet come out.. my mind would be eased.

Hi there!

Yeah.. I miss her.

California is bad!

They also have all of the Betta fish shows and swaps.. and the Plumeria tree swaps... they have all the fun!

Only if yo promise to let me know if you find out first!

It's just my own opinion on the situation. I wouldn't pay $1000 for her, she looks too bad for that much money.

I definitely wouldn't buy her until I had her checked out and I did all the stuff I mentioned before. You just never know when someone tells you a horse is "amazing" just to get it sold.
My friends just got a 21 year old Standardbred in HORRIBLE shape. Literally almost dead.
When they were taking picture of him, (they document every rescue) they found a tattoo on his upper lip. Turns out he's actually a 3 year old Thoroughbred straight off the track.

The same goes with their manners. The woman said she had a fall, was it off of this horse?
There might be a reason she's wanting to get rid of her..maybe she's not that safe.
