Oh yes, you use nothing from High School in the real world.
Well, you will use some math, and maybe typing, but honestly as long as you know the basics, you'll be fine.
Most jobs will train you anyways, and if you go onto college, you'll be taught what you need to know for the specific job you're wanting.
I called this morning to talk to the guys at the car garage. I told him that his men were careless and I was NOT happy.
He understood and told me that we could get the car towed back there so they can fix it.
At that point I said, "Well here's the deal, I don't feel like I should have to pay for your men's mistakes. If you're not willing to fix it for free, no matter what the issue is, new or old, then I'm going to get it towed back here at your expense and take it somewhere else."
Then he told me he wanted to make it right and they'd pay for everything. They don't want to lose my business.
I continued to tell him things that made my argument better about how they weren't thorough enough.
There's a clamp that belonged on a hose that was just sitting next to my engine, attached to nothing, and there's an oil leak. Now I may not be a mechanic, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't take a mechanic to see that and know something's wrong.
I reminded him of the time when I first brought the car to them with my alternator problem and let them know that I thought there was a problem with the wires... I was told they were working fine..
Turns out, after my car went through THREE alternators, THREE, they decided to look at the wiring, and guess what? A wire had melted, causing the short.
So like I said, I reminded them when I, the person that knows nothing about cars, told them what was wrong and I was told I was wrong, when actually I was right.
After all of this, they better fix my car for free. I absolutely refuse to pay for his men's guesswork, and he was okay with that.
The employees obviously don't know how to their jobs, and I will never take my car back to them again if they get it working right.
We want to move to the UK, or Alabama.
Why don't you look for places in Alabama with us? It's not far from Florida.
Oh, and I'm sorry you won't be getting your horse.
