All I need now is the heater thing. You guys did want me to get my own, right?..

I also have pebble things that go in the bottom, a plant, algae wafers (whatever those are for..) and fish food.
Don't know if it's the right kind though.

Yay! you found it!! ok yes, please buy a little heater...$10 from walmart? Bettas like their water around 75-80o and we will send you a plant as well. Please do NOT add any of those plastic plants as they cut up the fins on bettas as they swim past ect..not sure about the castle it should be ok though...wash wash wash the stones in a bucket or they will scratch the tank as you swirl them around with your hands..add a tiny bit of bleach then rinse rinse rinse some more. add some of your rain water and rinse again.

then you will be all set. Will probally mail him out to you on monday as you have to use priority shipping (IF my car is fixed by then or I can get a ride)

Don't use the food you have if it is the flakes. or the wafers. we will send food.

I don't actually have a castle, but one plastic plant.

I won't put it in there though and I'll see if my grandma will buy me a heater.
I literally have $30 to last me 2 weeks..and it's going in my gas tank after work tonight.

I hate unexpected bills.

Yay!
Your online!

Done worry.. we will figure something out.

Our only problem with sending this heater is that we dont yet have the transportation to go out and buy another at the moment.

And since mom now knows her other fish are coming

We will figure something out though.... uhhh... I mean you two will figure something out

Hehe!

The 2-15 gallon one is what we use in the small tank. It is really small and I dont think it would do a 15 in reality. It holds a good temp in that tank (its preset for 78) which is 2 gallons... so I really think it would be just fine in a 1 gallon. If it held it up at 80 or 82 even because of the smaller size, that would be fine... I keep my more complex heaters set on 82.. theyre happier that temp.

I will not forget instructions! No worries! Hehe!

I have had that little tank before... I have thoughts on water dispersal... brb

I'll go get one. Maybe tonight even.. don't know what I'm going to do about getting gas though. Lol.
Never went to get if after work..

I've made a little spot for him already on my shelf.

Okey pokey.

I have some peices of sponge.... I cut up for another filter outlet dispersal modification (making the current more gentle

).

I had 2 of those little tanks once. They are cute! I had a breeder pair in them. But it did swirl bettas around too much, they were unhappy until I rigged it to be more gentle. You could do a couple things that will fix it np. Some creativity is all it takes
lol.png

One.. use a clip, a paper clip, laundry clip, ect... to compress part of the airtube and slow the bubbles down to a trickle. Depending on how that works with current and such... you could also stick a wedge of sponge in the clear cylinder the air and water flow out of. Wedged in enough... sponges work well for this because the water is forced to flow through them and disperses the water gently enough for mr. Betta to be happy

Does that make any sense? LOL. Anyway.. if I made sense.. I have a few spare peices of sponge (it was new, spensive sponge I sacrificed for my 'babies'

) from my operation in cutting everthing to bits to make stuff work right.

Just look at the benefits involved here... exercises in creative thinking.. hehe!

Hey.. is the walmart heater in your link... do they mean its 94 cent shipping to your *house* or 94 cent shipping to the *store near your house*... do you know?
