The kingdom of Brahmalot dodged what could have been a catastrophe over the weekend. The neighboring giants were out of town and the royal caretaker forgot to come over to take care of the kingdom.

No one was injured or missing, but needless to say all the citizens of Brahmalot were extremely happy to see their main source of food and water return. Feeding time this morning was very frantic with all the citizens vying to get the best tables at the local buffet.

The royal champions, Zig and Zag, likewise were happy to find they weren't abandoned. Very happy, very hungry, growing Great Dane puppies!

The littlest citizens in their private nursery were very hungry and thirsty, having filled their water source with shavings and eaten every last morsel of their food.

The royal caretaker has been in the employ of Brahmalot for many years and this is her only transgression. As no lasting harm befell the kingdom, she is forgiven, and a new plan of closer communication has been put in place to keep this from ever happening again!

I have bee n noticing MANY grapefruits in the grocery stores at low prices.. that means they are "in season" ...SO when does the "STICKY FACE" disease hit Brahmalot????

The grapefruit trees at Brahmalot have dropped most of their fruit. The citizens do love to eat the fruit, but this scribe has noticed no more flare-ups of the dreaded "sticky face disease."

A new visitor to the kingdom -

This little guy's mother was hit and killed by a car. A friend of the neighboring giants is taking care of him until he is weaned, then he will go to a farm and live with others of his kind. In the meantime, Queen Frack kindly allowed him to share her favorite laying spot.
