well now posh's sister whos the same age has got micro plasma, she is called peckers, she is now just bones, cant flap her wings, falls over if you knock her and if you pick her up or she bends down she coughs up fluid, so looks like it will be my 2 fav hens and oldest hens ive ever had dead in a week, not a good month for me

yep they are worms, I think it is MG but because for battery hens they are very old and more illness prone they just become very ill from tiny illnesses, when they molt they go relly bad, they dont lose the weight and the fluid but they hunch over and act like they are dieing but this is different

It is a nasty bacteria we have a strain we are trying to get rid of in our dairy herd. Causes joint issues among other things.
