Long live the King - the neverending story of Brahmalot!

It appears we have an epidemic! The citizens of Brahmalot seem to have all recovered for now, but this scribe is certain they will be carriers for life and this horrible disease will resurface next year when the dreaded fruits again fall from the trees.

Today, the neighbors of Brahmalot were very busy. The giants living behind the kingdom were mowing. There was road work going on in front of the kingdom. With all the noise, Lady Blackie and her babies ventured out of their nursery to have some outside time with the thought that it would be safe.

After about 30 minutes, this scribe heard screaming and ran outside just in time to see Lady Blackie chasing a horrible dragon (hawk) from the land. This brave lady attacked the dragon on the ground and forced it to flee. Luckily, all children are safe and are now back in the nursery, where they will remain unless under close supervision!

There is a new strain of sticky face disease in Brahmalot - it's called dirty head disease! So far it has only shown up on one citizen, Sir (or Lady) Flopsymopsycottontail, or Flopsy for short. Symptoms start on the top back of the head.

So far the front seems unaffected. This disease will have to be closely watched. There are strange happenings in the land of Brahmalot!

Woot well done lady blackie

Another peaceful day at Brahmalot.

Mork continues to grow big and strong, but is confused why his "brothers" love to dig in the dirt and throw it all over themselves.

Little Flopsymopsycottontail and his friends enjoy a few moments out of the nursery. Little Prince (or Princess) Bang-Bang is to the right and the prince on the left has not earned a name yet.

Princess Marie

and her brother, Donnie are also getting big and beautiful.

Everybody else enjoys a little scratch.

Meanwhile, Lady Alma (formerly known as Prince Elmo) enjoys a little cuddle time,

while her sister patiently waits for her turn.

Does Bang-bang's name reference Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? :)

In a round-about way. Princess Chitti is actually Princess Chittigong, which is a breed of chicken that was used in developing Brahmas. One of the friends of Brahmalot named her back somewhere around page 55 or so. Being that this scribe loved the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, it just made sense (in a twisted way) to name her first child Bang-Bang.

Anything is possible in Brahmalot!
