The construction crew is always trying to improve things at Brahmalot. Now there will be a new feeding station for the citizens.

The first of two planned feeding stations is planted strategically between two trees so the clumsy neighboring giants will not trip over it. In the coming days it will also have a roof placed over it. The citizens have already given it their stamp of approval. It will not tip over like the bowls and is long and narrow in hopes that no one will stand in it while eating. Also, it is accessible from either side, so quite a few can eat from it at once. Morning mash will be much easier!

Moms and babies pose for portrait day - Lady Buttercup and child are camera shy and would really much rather hunt for lunch. Lady Alma is happy to present her first child, and it's a beauty! It seems like only yesterday Lady Blackie had her children, and now here's Lady BJ (Blackie Junior) with a child of her own. Lady Carmen takes a much deserved dust bath while baby watches and learns. Meanwhile, the older children pose for a few of their own. Prince Comet takes a selfie - This trio of princes will soon be going on quest to new and exciting lands.

I see I am behind in my viewing! Such lovely pictures especially the "triplets"! EGGSCELLENT! OH, and the feeding stations look like they are approved already by the citizens of Brahmalot! :cd

I must proclaim that I am the official "raiser" of a light brahma for a dear friend of mine. It has two mystery chick buddies (from a school hatch project) and the size difference between these gremlins is hysterical!
Here they are waiting their turn in line for the drinking fountain while they got free time outside in the sun. Everyone is 3 weeks old now

Marco has decided to take over the duties of king, so King Samson has retired, not altogether peacefully, but they have finally reached an agreement. The law of the strongest is a tough law and this scribe expects that by the end of the summer there will be even another new king.
