Long live the King - the neverending story of Brahmalot!

Brahmalot has been very peaceful lately, with the exception of the new champions. They are now 37 pounds and growing fast! They have not been formally introduced to the citizens as of yet, but patrol the kingdom at night.

Elsewhere in Brahmalot, everywhere are ladies in waiting -

Even Lady Hope, who as the readers will recall, was brutally attacked by a beast about a year ago, is awaiting the birth of her children. As you can see, the feathers under her wing never came back in all the way. Recovery took a long time, but at last in May she actually started laying eggs again! Three cheers for Lady Hope!

Queen Mother Chrissie has her hands full. She has two new foster-children from the land of Turkey.

It takes a whole kingdom to raise some children. This little one follows everything that moves, driving poor Chrissie to distraction!

The flock gathers when they see the royal wheelbarrow. They know the neighboring giants have gone off to some mysterious land and returned with food.

Lady Lacey comes over for a closer look, but the food has already been placed in the royal pantry.

No worries, everyone got a treat!

There was a bit of excitement earlier this week when a winged dragon was found inside the castle! This dreaded hawk-dragon found its way in but could not find the castle door. The royal guard started up quite a ruckus, causing the giants to come running. The dragon was shown the door.

Awwwwwww!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait to hear the stories about the ladies in waiting and their upcoming chicks!!!!! I like mother and turkeys. So cute.
Keep it going Sjisty!!!!!!!!!!
I just love your stories!

Sjisty, I made up a story about my chickens too! Thanks for inspiring me. I am now the official scribe of The Valley of a Thousand Brahmas!

I've had lots of catching up to do on this thread! I started reading about two days ago, and now I'm on page eighteen, and just finished reading the part where Solo (aka the beast) dies. Made me want to cry, as I was looking forward to seeing if he found his beauty. Poor guy. He was my favorite out of all of them. Him, Princess Stupid, Nanny Heidi & Rocky make the story for me. Enjoying every moment reading these wonderful stories. Normally I read it with either Cherry or Rusty on my lap, and they seem to love it too!
