Long live the King - the neverending story of Brahmalot!

Good morning and greetings to Brahmalot.
A few days ago, a giant from a far of land arrived at Brahmalot to request several ladies for a quest to a new kingdom. The giant asked for the fairest ladies, but also the most gentle and kind. There would be a new kingdom in a seaside village.
Since she was yet un-named, the first choosen was quick to offer herself. She is now Princess Leaf-Leaf (as she is colored like many leaves)

The second choosen is a daughter of Buttercup. Knowing she is too far in lineage to become queen, the unnamed princess wanted to make a name for herself and is now Princess Diamond.

Knowing the young ladies would need guidance and since she is by far the fairest beauty in all the land but Snow White would never admit it, the Princess Bang Bang also accompanied the young ladies. The small giants have decided to call her Apple White (I believe these small giants watch too much Ever After High on Netflix)

Your chariot princesses!

We have arrived. The giants are so happy to greet us.

A watermelon festival? No? What is this?
Cantelope? What a strange place we have come to.

Oh, the natives eat it. Maybe not so bad after all.

No way....they do have watermelon festivals!!

Five princesses. Who will become queen? Where is the king? Oh my, this is a strange land.

What an EGGSCELLENT little story!!! :yesss:

There are many permanent citizens of Brahmalot, but there are always children growing up. Sometimes it is necessary to "thin the ranks" or Brahmalot would become very crowded. There are still some princes who will be going on quest soon. The remaining ladies will be very relieved when that happens.

Queen Mother Chrissie was "scalped" yesterday, probably by an inexperienced young prince. She is now in the infirmary with her turkey babies, and will remain inside until she is well on the road to recovery.

On a happier note - This scribe's mother married her prince Thursday. It is hoped the happy couple have a happy life together. This is the happiest this scribe has seen her mother since the death of her father several years ago. They are both 85 years old.

Wishing Mother Chrissie a speedy recovery. And I wish your mother and her prince a lifetime of happiness, health, and adventures.
