Long live the King - the neverending story of Brahmalot!

Brahmalot was deluged with a heavy rainstorm today, just after the children in the nursery were placed in an annex of the main castle! By the time the giants could get to them, they were all but drowned from flood water. Four of the poor little ones were unable to stand up and all were cold and shivering. They obviously did not have time to find the dry area of their new home.

After an afternoon of tender loving care with heat lamps and hair dryer, all eight children are back in their nursery, happy and warm once more, where they will stay for another week or so to make sure there are no ill effects from their drenching.

This humble scribe apologizes for the substandard pictures. It seems it is time for a new royal camera!

Perhaps I've missed a few posts, I dunno. However, I'm a little curious with regard to the struggles among the various pretenders to the throne of Brahmalot. Any news in that department?

There have been some major changes in the hierarchy of Brahmalot. King Samson has officially retired from Brahmalot. To save him from now constant abuse from King Marco, he has moved to a retirement kingdom where he will again be the top king. King Marco also moved to another kingdom where he will be an only king. Prince Comet has gone on quest to find his new kingdom. Prince Comet was very rough on the ladies and it is thought he is the one who severely injured Queen Mother Chrissie, as well as several other ladies. Queen Frack was afraid to come out of the castle while he was here.

Long live the kings of Brahmalot - they will be missed, but have good homes and King Samson will even be reunited with some of his children.

Brahmalot for the moment has two princes who will share the duties of king.

Introducing the newly kinged Prince Zeke

And Prince (now King) Cody, telling the world he is now in charge!

It is hoped these two youngsters will learn to be wise and kind to the ladies of Brahmalot.

Meanwhile, Queen Mother Chrissie has healed beautifully from her "scalping." Today is her first day out of the royal infirmary, and she is enjoying the freedom with her children. She lost half of her comb and all of the feathers on her head, but hopefully the feathers will start growing back. By the day after the injury, the royal physician was happy to report that she still had both eyes, which was a major worry on that first horrible day.

The day of the injury -

Yay for Queen Mother Chrissie. I hope her feathers grow back very soon!

Poor Queen Mother Chrissie. (I've got 4 roosters and 3 are very rough and fight a lot. So in the process, they injure my poor pullets. They will be going on a 'quest' to the Land of Freezerville, very soon. ;) ) Glad she's better now! :) :weee
The kings are beautiful! :love
