Winter Photo Contests
Winter Photography Contest
Ends February 28th, 2026​

Winter means many things to many people. It might be relaxing around a warm fire covered in blankets, hot beverages to sip with friends and family, fresh powder, shredding a downhill, or maybe even hanging out at the beach and taking in some sun. Show us what winter means to you! Get creative, and take home a prize! This contest is not for photos of chickens or other domestic poultry—if you have winter-themed photographs of your fine feathered friends, please enter them HERE.

How to enter:
It's easy to enter, just reply to this thread with photos of your winter-themed photos.

To increase your chances of winning, please read the rules before entering.

Rules:
Four entries per member. One photo per post, please.
  1. Four entries per member. One photo per post, please.
  2. An entry is one winter-themed photo.
  3. No domestic poultry allowed. Domestic poultry photos may be entered in the Winter on the Farm Photo Contest.
  4. Images that have been resized might be disqualified if they are too small to judge.
  5. No screenshots, watermarks, date stamps, text, etc., on the photo. No collages.
  6. The photo needs to have been taken by you.
  7. You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC-sponsored contest.
  8. High-quality images are recommended. Basic editing, such as cropping and other subtle changes, are allowed.
  9. ALL photos MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
  10. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
  11. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
  12. Entries will be accepted through February 28th, 2026, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
