Molting season has come to Brahmalot, with feathers everywhere!


Lady Lacey is through the hard part and growing beautiful new feathers -


while others, like Lady Star, have only just begun.


Brahmalot will soon look like an exploded pillow factory!

Most of my chickens are looking rather bare and prickly right now as well. My one Brahma hen is always the first to start molting.
