Long live the King - the neverending story of Brahmalot!

OMGAWD!!!! So scarey.......... So glad to hear everyone is safe in Brahmalot. May I ask, why do the trees do that? FOR SURE they get plenty of water......

PLEEZE post when the episode of "WHOS YER MAMA" airs on the Maury show! :lau :gig :yesss:

Not much going on at Brahmalot - just beautiful, peaceful days of summer!

Young princes gone on quest to a new land.

Lady Star has a new child, which looks suspiciously like Lady Flopsy - we may have to take a trip to The Maury Show!

New children are being born almost daily, and Brahmalot has gone from 14 broody ladies-in-waiting to now just 3. Hopefully they will not have to wait much longer.
The princes are very handsome and I'm sure they will enjoy their quests to the new lands. I think she may have stolen that baby from Lady Flopsy but only a dna test will prove the results.

This scribe is beginning to fear reporting "peaceful" days. Within an hour of this morning's post, numerous cracks were heard, almost like gunfire! Upon investigation, it was discovered to be the sound of wood cracking. After about 20 minutes of this frequent sound of popping, this scribe witnessed the fall of yet another tree! As you can see, it fell beside what is left of the firewood from last year's trees falling. The neighboring Giants will never run out of firewood, but they wonder if Brahmalot will soon look like a pasture (although without grass).

At least no citizens of Brahmalot were injured and, once again, the Giants' house was spared.

I'm so sorry about the loss of another tree but you were so lucky no one was injured and the house wasn't hit by the tree. Do not post anymore peaceful days you don't need anymore drama like this. Thanks for the updates. Love the pics of the chickens and the chick.

More sad news from Brahmalot. Lady Bertha, sister to Lady Blackie and one of the remaining oldsters of the kingdom, died in the night. She was one of the 10-ish year old ladies and lived a good long life. This scribe remembers how years ago (before the kingdom of Brahmalot was begun) a hawk landed on the ground in front of Big Bertha while she was dust bathing. She came up out of the hollow she had made, held her wings out to her sides, fluffed her feathers out to look bigger, and started growling. The dreaded hawk decided it met it's match and flew away!

Lady Blackie, Lady Buttercup, and Queen Frack are the last of the 10+ year-olds. Lady Blackie even still lays an occasional egg, coming inside the neighboring giants' house to do so about once every 6 weeks.

Rest in peace, Lady Bertha. You have led a good long life and will be missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Lady Bertha. I know she lived a wonderful life at Brahmalot.

She must have been brave in her early days to take on a hawk. What a wonderful story.

RIP, very sad

The mamas and babies take some time outside the nursery, although Lady Lucy had to tell Wizard Zebulon he was definitely not allowed to practice magic on her babies!

Lady Star and her baby, who is definitely not a Brahma (don't tell Star, but it really belongs to Lady FlopsyMopsyCottontail).

Lady FlopsyMopsyCottontail enjoys some watermelon. Does she know she has a child? If she does, she is enjoying having someone else raise it for her!

Lady Meanie enjoys a little watermelon with her baby.
